        My Bio

I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was five years old. I used to scrounge up whatever I could from my measly allowance so I could develop my countless rolls of film. I always knew I wanted to be an artist.

Aside from being a photographer, I’m also a musician and singer/songwriter. I could probably talk about music all day. I love watching movies and could probably put together a detailed list of my Top 5 Favorite Movies for every genre.

I live in Los Angeles with my two beautiful children (being their mom challenges me and inspires me every. single. day.), our puppy Sgt. Pepper, our kitten Raisin. I’m a single mother, so please know that when you work with me, you are helping me support my family in a way that I didn’t think possible. Making a living with my art means the world to me.

Everyone is photogenic, all you need is a good coach.

        FUN FACTS

I grew up in a small desert town in California. Joshua trees hold a special place in my heart.

I’m a Gemini sun and a Taurus moon and rising. I think that’s pretty spot on.

I am pretty serious about board games. The more complicated, the better!

My go-to karaoke song is “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, complete with interpretive dancing and sing screaming.

I love hot wings and could probably eat them every day.

My top 5 favorite movies are: The Royal Tenenbaums, The Godfather, Cabaret, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

I play guitar, piano, ukulele, and I sing and write songs under my alter ego, Jane and Her Calamity.

Although my left-handedness always made me believe it wasn’t possible, I finally achieved my life-long dream of becoming a calligrapher.
