they say that rain on a wedding day is good luck, but most of the time after spending at least a year planning for this day, it can be hard to look on the bright side when the forecast is a 95% chance of rain. especially when you’re having an outdoor wedding.
but that didn’t bother Amy and Jake. and it didn’t bother their guests, either. at one point right before the reception, it started pouring rain. the bride and groom’s parents grabbed some trash bags and guests were tearing holes through the plastic so they could wear the bags like a poncho. every one was laughing and helping each other and it ended up being such a joyful moment.
the rain died down after a few minutes and the rest of the evening was rain free and everyone danced their faces off.
it was pretty damn magical.
